Kost Tire & Auto Service

I've been bringing my cars here for a variety of services over the years, including new tires, headlights, oil changes, and other maintenance. Every experience has been a positive one. The guys are always kind, friendly, and efficient, and they consistently provide great service. I especially want to recognize Trevor. He always communicates clearly about any issues, delays, or work that needs to be done, and I really appreciate that he takes the time to show and explain things rather than just telling me about them. Even when unexpected delays come up, he's upfront about what's going on and follows through on his commitments. It's hard to find a garage you can trust, but I've never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or upsold on services I didn't need. The honesty, transparency, and customer service are a big part of why I continue to bring my vehicle here. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable automotive service.

I had taken my car to a competitor for inspection, oil change, and regular maintenance. They had given me a run around telling me something was wrong with my car but they couldn’t give me the exact name of the part, pricing, and also couldn’t order it. On top of that told me I’d have to pay for 3-6 hours of maintenance time, even though they couldn’t tell me what was wrong and why they were failing my cars inspection. I knew something was off and immediately took my car to Kost for a second opinion. They had looked everything over and my car was completely fine! Not only did they save me time and money, they saved me anxiety and hassle! I highly recommend going to kost on 9th ave, Vic and Trevor are great and more than reputable! You won’t regret it

Horrible experience. Asked customer service at intake that I needed both batteries replaced (main and aux) and alternator. So i assumed the price quoted was for both and not for just one. They only replaced the main battery. Also had alternator replaced. Charged me 750 for the part when online from several sources it was only $200-$300. Also asked them to tighten a bolt on the windshield wiper that had become lose from cold winter. They instead try to convince me it was the transmission??? Had them tighten the bolt and it starts working like new. Customer service wasn't exactly the most cheerful bunch.

Blew a tire and had no spare and had to get back to Philly to catch a flight. Spoke w Victor and he said he’d take care of me so I had AAA tow to West Side Kost. Victor jumped right on it, assessed the damage, recommended 2 front Goodyear replacements which matched the rears. He had them brought down from another location and had me back on the road on about 2 hours total. Fantastic experience! Thanks, Victor!

I always have a warm and welcoming experience here. Their staff is very professional and always offer the best advice for reasonable price. I had to leave my car while they changed the tires and they offered me a ride home. They have a lifetime customer with me!
